I guess suggesting you download the trial version of Publisher isn't what
you wanted to hear, huh? ;-)

The Publisher trial probably is the easiest way, but it is possible in Word.

First go into the Page Setup dialog and set the page orientation to Landscape.
Then insert a 1-row 2-column table and drag the bottom border of the table down
almost to the bottom margin. Type the text in one cell, then copy/paste to the
other cell.

Right-click in the left-hand cell, choose Text Direction, and turn the text
clockwise. Right-click again, choose Cell Alignment, and select the
center/center icon.

Repeat in the right-hand cell but turn the text counterclockwise.

If you want to turn off the table borders, press Ctrl+Alt+U.

It would be easier for me but chances are you'd have it completed in Word
and the event would be over with by then. ;-)
