Default set default zoom size

Is there a way to set the default zoom size so a new Word 2007 document
always opens to the desired size? My documents always open at about 75%,
which is much too small for my laptop and I constantly have to change it.
I've tried changing normal.dot but the default does not change.

Look at the pair of Auto macros at the end of
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm which include setting the zoom
for all new and existing documents.
