Default Table gridlines

I am creating a template with a table in it. It will be used by different
people and viewed on screen. I dont want the table gridlines to show when
the users work with / view it.

Hide Gridlines seems to be specific to Word not to individual files.

Is there a way to ensure that the gridlines are not seen whenever the file
is opened €“ there doesnt seem to be an option to do this in the table style.

I am creating the template in Word 2003.
