Using Macrons (symbols) in a form
Hi,
Some of our NZ Maori words have a macron over the letter. I have set this up in autocorrect and it works well until I create a form and the autocorrect no longer works. any ideas? Thanks Yvonne |

Hi Yvonne,
I don't think you can make the AutoCorrects work in Forms. You might give the users a list of the codes, so they can type them = using Alt (with NumLock on): =C4=81 =3D Alt+257 =C4=93 =3D Alt+275 =C4=AB =3D Alt+299 =C5=8D =3D Alt+333 =C5=AB =3D Alt+363 And/or you could let them type the AutoCorrects they are used to, and = replace them with the correct letters later when you get the text out of = the Form. Hi Klaus,
I don't think you can make the AutoCorrects work in Forms. Depends on the kind of form, and the version of Word. AutoCorrect will work in form fields (from the Forms toolbar) in the newer versions of Word. Although sometimes it needs a bit of a "kick" (it's in the KB).
