Default window will not maximize correctly

When I open up word the window says it is maximized but is a few inches down
from the top of the screen and the bottom is cut off by the taskbar. I have
tried everything I can think of to fix it but the only thing that works is
after I exit word I go to the taskmanager and end the WINWORD process. If i
open Word after doing this is correctly fills up the screen; however the next
time i start my computer up and open word the problem occurs again. Any
ideas?

Are you using Word as editor for Outlook? Try using Outlook's own editor. If
that doesn't fix it - see
