Default Removing blank area in Word 03's Insert Object List

Greetings everyone,
Just installed Office 2003 Professional. Chose to have the Equation Editor
installed.
When prepairing to Insert an Equation there is a long blank area that must
be scrolled past to actually see the available objects. Equation Editor is
there and it works but it is anoying to have do all the scrolling. It first
appeared that there were no objects available but then I noticed the scroll
bar.

Is there a way clean up the objects list?

Thanks,
Dennis

Default Removing blank area in Word 03's Insert Object List

Hi

The best solution might be to create a button that inserts an equation,
without having to bother with the Insert Object list.

To do that, do Tools Customize. On the Commands tab, in the Categories
list, choose All Commands. Now, in the Commands list, find Insert Equation.
Drag that to one of your toolbars. I put mine at the bottom of the Insert
menu.

Unless you chose somewhere else, this change will be stored in normal.dot.
So, when you exit Word, if you get a message saying 'do you want to save
changes to normal.dot', say Yes.

Hope this helps.
