Select 3" x 5" card as the paper size and landscape as the paper
orientation. If your printer driver does not offer 3x5 as a paper size, then
there is a strong likelihood that it cannot print on cards that small.

Hi Perry,
If you are using Avery 3x5 cards that feed in your printer, choose Tools
from the menu. Then choose Envelopes and Labels. Click the Labels tab. Click
the Options button. Under Product Number, choose 5388- Index Card. When you
click this product you will see the label information is 3x5. Choose OK.
Choose the New Document button.

Your directions are a lifesaver. I have wanted to do this for years ( as a
student with severe writers cramp) and your step by step directions are
great. Thanks.

I'm glad you find it helpful, but in fact these directions aren't much help
unless your printer *does* print on 3x5 cards. If it doesn't, you may want
to try getting index card sheets (Avery and the like), which have several
cards per sheet. You can then type on them as "labels" by selecting the
appropriate stock number in the Envelopes and Labels dialog and clicking New
Document to get a sheet of them.
