Default background images

Hi,
Need some help with printing of background images. I have set up a
transparent image using format / backgrounds / fill effects / pictures. Chose
a perfectly sized picture and all looks good in the document. Go to print
preview and it looks just like the doc. Now the problem comes in when I
print, the background image is reduced ten fold and repeated about the same
amount. Any help would be appreciated.

Using Office Word 2003 SP2

Thanks, Billy

In Word, try turning off background printing in Tools | Options | Print.
In Windows, try turning off printing spooling and/or advanced text
services in Start | Control Panel | Printers | right-click on your
printer | Properties.

The whole idea here is to enable printing the background. The problem is that
it does not print the same size and frequency of the re-occuring image. I
have tried using a BMP and GIF image, the problem is present with either
background. Why is the image being re-sized smaller and repeated more often
in the printed document compared to the print preview?

I tried the before mentioned suggestions, but that either did not allow
porinting of the background or made no changes.

Any suggestions, Billy
