Hi ?B?Sm9Dbw==?=,
I am trying to mailmerge a catalogue from an excel spreadsheet. Some of the fields are quite long but some (but not all) fields are cutting off at 255 characters. Does anyone know how I can rectify this? For the quickest response you should ask this in the word.mailmerge.fields newsgroup. Be sure to mention the *version* of Word involved in the problem. As best I can recall, this has to do with using an older connection method that was designed at the time Excel had a 255 character limit in its cells. You need to use a different connection method to the Excel data source. But without knowing which version of Office is involved I can't give you any specific information about how to do this.
