I am having trouble getting the printer to print on both sides using duplex
printing.
I am printing a document from Microsoft Word 2003.

I have tried the following, which fails to print on both sides of the paper.
Print Options clicked on the checkboxes 'front of the sheet' and 'back of
the sheet' (under the options for duplex printing).

I have a co-worker who can print to this printer, so I know that the printer
is capable of duplex printing. It is a Xerox printer. However, she has
different settings in her 'page layout' tab that allow her to print to both
sides.

Please help!

You have to enable duplex printing in the printer Properties.
