I have my margins set at 2.5cm from the top and bottom and 2.5 from the left
and right. But when I open a new document, the cursor is right at the top of the document, not 2.5 cm down. I have saved all my settings as default, and when I check the settings in the new document they all seem correct, yet are being ingnored. |

Hi, Rose. In Word, switch to Print Layout view if you're not already in it.
Click on Tools | Options | View | check the "White space between pages" box | OK. "Rose" wrote: I have my margins set at 2.5cm from the top and bottom and 2.5 from the left and right. I had exactly the same problem but posted it under "general questions". Your
fix worked thank you very much, but not until I had closed and reopened Word. Thanks pal! "garfield-n-odie" wrote: Hi, Rose. In Word, switch to Print Layout view if you're not already in it.
