Help! A friend has a database in Excel (2000) and Word (2000) doc. It used
to work really well. Now it seems to randomly pull the wrong data from the
wrong records - can repeat one record in one field and change the others or
sometimes just pulls the wrong field data in! It appears to be random and
changes each time. However - if I try to use the same doc and db on another
PC running Word and Excel 2003, it works fine! Have tried several PCs and it
seems to work on 2002 onwards but fails on 2000. I have been using MM for 10
years+ and never seen it do this! Have tried starting the database from a
brand new file (all typed in from scratch) and get the SAME problem and have
tried with a fresh Word doc and attaching a fresh DB - still pulling random
records and/or repeating some. Any clues? No virus, no access to internet!!
