Default Locking word 2003 table cells

How can I lock a cell in Word 2003 so then when you type in the cell the cell
does not expand. I have put in form fields and don't want the table to change
onto other pages etc. as I type.

Default Locking word 2003 table cells

On the Table tab of Table Properties, click Options and deselect
"Automatically resize to fit contents." On the Column and Row tabs, select a
preferred column width and exact row height.
