Hi ?B?RGlja1dobw==?=,
"MSWord has not been installed for current user. Please run setup to install the application." A split document recovery window and word page appears with the message. Tried reinstalling with the disc but will not let me because I m not recognized as the current user. Help? Strange... Probably best to ask the specialists in the office setup newsgroup. Be sure to mention - version of Word - version of Windows - type of user account (admin, or whatever) - under which type of account Word/Office was originally installed - whether other Office apps (such as Excel) run without problems Cindy Meister INTER-Solutions, Switzerland http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister (last update Jun 17 2005) http://www.word.mvps.org This reply is posted in the Newsgroup; please post any follow question or reply in the newsgroup and not by e-mail :-) |

Determined that Word corrupted. Word packaged with my Dell part of MS Works
Suite 2002. I ordered MSWS 2006 from Dell. Got brave and went into the Registry and deleted 2002 completely. Installed 2006 and fully restored. Suppose I could have reinstalled 2002 but I chose to update. So far so good! Thanks for your response. I have book marked your web page!
