Default MS Word 2002 Template - How to prevent Hard returns in text field.

In a saved Template how can I ensure the user can not add lines to the field
by hitting the enter key. I already limited the field to 50 characters.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more
about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. For an answer to your particular question use
the first link and look for the link on changing the action of the Enter key
in forms.

Hope this helps,

You'll see the words "Enter Key" in red for the link, but here it is.
