Default How do you set values for check boxes, yes or no in a mail merged

Hi Doe

that's a tiny bit of information for us trying to grasp what your
problem is ...

If you have yes or no as field values in your source document/database,
and try to get checked or unchecked boxes in your merged letter, you can
do so with an IF field: check for "yes", and if so, insert an
appropriate symbol.

If you have the Wingdings font on your system (and a reasonably young
Word installation), you can type (in Arial!) 00FE and hit ALT-X (and
then 00A8, Alt-X, respectively). Then format the result in Wingdings.

HTH
