I have been having trouble lately with screen shots that are pasted into my
word documents (which I do often when creating training manuals). Many times these pasted graphics will not appear - yet I know they are present in the document because when I click on where they should be, I see the outline of the graphic. Sometimes, if I reduce the size (via dragging the corner) they do appear. Is this a memory issue? If so, is there a setting that I can work with to increase the memory? Any other ideas what might be causing this problem? -- Thanks much! Randy |

Hi Randy,
First off, make sure 'picture placeholders' is NOT checked, under Tools|Options|View. If that doesn't cure things, you've likely got a display driver problem In that case, check for an update on the maker's website. Failing that, you could try reducing the display hardware accelerations via the Windows Control Panel. I already made sure that the picture placeholder was deselected. What are
the steps for reducing the hardware accelerations? I found this for sound devices - but not graphical. -- Thanks much!
