I receive in multiple pages of patient letters, each is different, and each
is addressed to a different patient or a referring doctor. The pages have been formatted by the transcriptionist for easy printing. How can I "tell" Word" to print an envelope for each letter in this "document or file"? When I attempt to do this using Tools-Envelopes, it will let me attach an envelope to the first letter, but the second letter it will not. When I attempted this, it changed the first page's address to that of the second. I am certain Word can do this, I simply cannot figure it out. Thanks for your assistance! |

You need to create a mail merge for the envelopes using the same data source
used to create the letters. -- Suzanne S. Thank you, Suzanne!
Each typist uses their own data source (I would assume), and I receive only the finished product which are pages of letters with appropriate spacing to allow for the letterhead on each page. Is there any other trick you know of that will help with this task? Again, thanks so much for responding! "Suzanne S. I don't know of any good way. I suggest you might try to educate the typists
on how to create the envelope files as well as the letters. Someone may have set up the letter merge for them; that same someone (or it may have to be you) may have to also set up the envelope merge as well. -- Suzanne S.
