We currently have .DOC files set to open word documents with the IE Browser
window. We have noticed if someone has an addin that is located under c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\templates\xxxxx.dot, when clicking a word link from within the browser it open Word outside the browser and does not load the file. To get around this, we have been having the clients uncheck Tools | Addins | and whatever addin, then go into the browser window and everything works fine. Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can get around this? |
