Can't Save Word Docs From Internet
When I open a Word file posted on a grad school class website, IE opens doc
and provides Word toolbars with all normal options except "File" "Edit", etc. dropdown menus that would contain "Save as..." It seems as if I'm viewing the .doc on the Web When I click the Save icon, nothing happens. I want to save the .doc to "my Documents" on my Desktop. I looked in Tools-Options, etc. for IE to see if I could instruct Explorer to download .docs via Word 2003, but I can't find anything. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Can't Save Word Docs From Internet
Don't left-click on the link to the Word file. Instead, right-click on
the link, left-click on "Save Target As" to your My Documents folder, start Word, browse to your My Documents folder, select the Word file, and click on Open.
