How do I set up a fill-in form to allow edits of a portion?
I need to create a medical form that will allow checkboxes and drop downs.
It will also include a photograph of a skeleton that the doctor wants to be able to draw a line to and insert text over certain parts of the diagram. How can I develop the form so that it allows you to insert text over the diagram? -- Sonja Holmes |

Hi Sonja,
You can insert Section breaks either side of the editable portion, then protect all except that Section (via Tools|Protect Document Forms Sections). -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Sonja Holmes" wrote in message news I need to create a medical form that will allow checkboxes and drop downs. How do I set up a fill-in form to allow edits of a portion?
Ok, now my issue is that this document has two columns and when I insert a
continuous section break it moves the information above it to the new column. The section break creates only one column. I need for the information to remain in column one. How do I do this? -- Sonja Holmes "macropod" wrote: Hi Sonja, You can insert Section breaks either side of the editable portion, then protect all except that Section (via Tools|Protect Document Forms Sections). -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Sonja Holmes" wrote in message news I need to create a medical form that will allow checkboxes and drop downs. Hi Sonja,
I don't think that's possible. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Sonja Holmes" wrote in message ...
