Default Track Changes

I have a large document that has track changes on. I noticed on some of the
deletions in track changes that inside of the red box with the deletion there
was a another little box in the right hand corner of the deletion with ... in
the box. When I click on this box with the ... the reviewing pane comes on
and shows that there was a whole row with columns deleted. Is that all that
little box means, that a row with columns were deleted? I not sure if I'm
explaining very clearly. The deletions were from a table in the document.
Does this box appear because all of the deletion can't fit in the deleted red
box. I am using Word 2003.
