How do i link form fileds in multiple word templates/forms?
I need to create multiple forms/templates for work. The patients personal
info ( dob, ss#, etc...) is repeated at the top of each form. Is there a way to link the fields so that the admissions person does not have to re-type the patients info at the top of each form? Any help is greatly appreciated!!! |

I'm sure somebody will post a link to a set of detailed instructions but
what you have to do is set the input fields to "Calculate On Exit" and then create separate REF fields to the FormField Bookmark names whereever you want the data to be repeated. -- Enjoy, Tony "Corry" wrote in message ... Will this work with separate forms/templates? I have found info in the past
similar to this, (linking fields within one form) but they never mentioned linking fields to separate forms. Thanks again for your help! How about combining all of the forms into one document and then using cross
references -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Corry" wrote in message ...
