Default Word 2003 won't move bullet over when tab is pressed.

Since installing Word 2003 on my computer, I have had problems with using the
tab button. At first I thought this was an Autoformat problem, but all of
those settings are fine. What happens is, when I make a bullet and then press
the tab key, instead of tabbing the bullet over Word just tabs the cursor
over and the bullet stays put. Also, when writing paragraph and attempting to
tab the entire paragraph over, the same thing happens. Any ideas how I could
fix this problem?

In Word 2002 and 2003, click on Tools | AutoCorrect Options |
AutoFormat As You Type | check the "Set left- and first-indent
with tabs and backspaces" box | OK.
