Hi there,

I am praying someone can help me as I'm about to pull my hair out. When in word and outlook and I am typing a sentence, when I look at my screen my cursor has jumped to another area and started typing there instead. It has taken me 10 minutes to type this message as I keep having to re-type and delete little sections.

Please help

Are you on a laptop? This happens quite often if you're accidentally hitting
the pad at the bottom with your thumbs while you type. Depending on the type
of laptop you have, you may be able to reduce the sensitivity of the pad, or
turn it off altogether.

So...

Don't type on a laptop.

The touchpads can be so sensitive that the insertion point jumps around,
seemingly at random, from the vibration from your keystrokes, even if you
don't touch the touchpad! Yes, it is really annoying!
