Restricting editing in selected text
Can I select text in a document and restrict another user from editing it?
But only selected text. The rest of the document can be edited. I expect the restriction would need to be password-controlled. Thanks |

Restricting editing in selected text
Hi Hall,
Can I select text in a document and restrict another user from editing it? But only selected text. The rest of the document can be edited. I expect the restriction would need to be password-controlled. If everyone is using Word 2003, yes. Other than that, no, Word doesn't support that kind of selective protection, except by full sections.
