Default Word 2003 Table Formula Number format displays errors.

The "Table Formula Number format" in Word 2003 displays incorrectly.
The formula =1/3 displays as 0.33% in "0.00%" format.
The formula =1/3 displays as 0% in "0%" format.
The formula =1/3 displays as .33% in "#.##%" format.

How do I get simple ratios to display in percent format?
