Opening transferred word documents
I transferred files from another computer(which had Word Perfect ) to my new
laptop(which has MS Word. I converted them to MS Word. When I try to open any one of them I get a window "cannot open password protected documents". I am not aware of any locks or passwords on these documents. Any suggestions? |

Opening transferred word documents
I think I opened in notepad. Then file, save as, and put in desktop. I then
put in My documents. I have the icon showing the document in MS Word in My documents, but cannot open. "Jezebel" wrote: How did you convert them to Word? "jaba" wrote in message ... Opening a file in Notepad doesn't convert it. And the icon is justr a
function of the filename extension -- it says nothing about the content of the form. Go back to your original WP files and open them in Word. "jaba" wrote in message ... I think I opened in notepad.
