Create two separate documents (if you will be submitting a printed document)
or Separate the two sections with a section break and format the sections individually or Use paragraph styles with left and right indents -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org azalee wrote: I'm doing an academic paper, and i need 2 inch margins for the abstract, but 1 inch margins for the rest of the paper. The easiest way (and the only good way if the abstract is to be on a page
with other text or with the same header/footer as the rest) is to use a style with left and right indents; the built-in Block Text style by default has 1" indents, which would serve your purpose. Unless you need a different header/footer on the abstract, I would avoid section breaks as adding needless complexity. -- Suzanne S.
