Putting data from two different MSQL tables on one Mail Merge docu
I have a ODBC connection established to a MYSQL database with two tables. By
moving between the tables I can insert merge fields from both on to my document. (Although I seem to have to go back to "Select Recipients" to change tables) However when I go to preview the document it appears able to link to only one table source. Surely Mail Merge can cope with two data sources from the same database? If so, how's it done, please. |

Mail merge can only use a single flat data source. To merge with data from
two tables, you will need to use an SQL query to combine the data from the two tables into such a data source. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
