How do I save to a drive other than the C:Drive?
When attempting to save a document to my CD-RW drive (Erive) I get the
following message: You do not have access to the folder 'E:\'. See your administrator for access to this folder. I am working on my home computer that is not connected to a network. How do I change my settings to get access to this folder? I do not get the same message when saving to my floppy (A drive. |

You don't! Nor should you save directly to floppy (or open or print) . These
are the major causes of document corruption - save to the Cd drive and *COPY* to the removable media. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org dalewj wrote: When attempting to save a document to my CD-RW drive (Erive) I get the following message: You do not have access to the folder 'E:\'. I think you meant to say "Save to your Hard Drive" then copy to cd.
