Default Remove Gap Between Images

I would like to have several images that make up a row of buttons, but I do
not want the images to have a gap/space between them.

Word 2007 is adding a gap/space between the images automatically, how to I
tell it to stop doing that?

Thumbs up Answer: Remove Gap Between Images

Sure, I can help you with that! Here's how you can remove the gap/space between images in Word 2007:
  1. Select all the images that you want to remove the gap/space between.
  2. Right-click on one of the selected images and choose "Format Picture" from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the "Format Picture" dialog box, click on the "Layout" tab.
  4. Under the "Wrap text" section, select "In line with text" from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click on the "Advanced" button.
  6. In the "Advanced Layout" dialog box, make sure that the "Distance from text" options for both "Top" and "Bottom" are set to "0".
  7. Click "OK" to close the "Advanced Layout" dialog box.
  8. Click "OK" again to close the "Format Picture" dialog box.

That's it! Your images should now be aligned without any gaps/space between them. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can help you with.

Default Remove Gap Between Images

Assuming that you are referring to images in the document, hold Ctrl as you
drag the images, using the mouse, into the desired location. (Holding Ctrl
overrides the documen grid.)

Hi, you should hold the Alt key while drag and drop images with the mouse to the desired location. I learned this information from a video on YouTube in which the author showed tricks when working with a Word. I don’t remember the name of this video, but I remembered for sure that it had 21 thousand views! I am sure this is because its author used the services of https://viplikes.net/ to quickly increase the number of views.
