Dear Sir or Madam:

I am very disappointed with the new version of Microsoft Word. I am a
Business Education Teacher at Clifton High School and find the new version is
not user friendly at all. It is very difficult to find many items that were
originally just right at your fingertips. For example, when using clip art,
it is very difficult to make the picture a watermark. You have to go to
another tab to washout a picture. Also, when inserting page numbering,
specifically when hiding the page number on the first page, you have to go to
another tab. The €œdifferent first page€� wording usage does not clearly
indicate that the number will not be shown on the first page to the student
user. In addition, the line spacing is automatically set to multiple instead
of single, which is confusing to students when typing documents. So far,
these are the items I find in the software package that are difficult to use.
