Word 2003: cannot add text to an existing TOC
I am updating an existing word document with a table of contents (toc). (I
didn't create the document). There is a paragraph heading that does not appear in the toc. I have highlited the heading in the document and used the "insert" option for toc. It will not show up in the toc. This is a heading that was already in the document and was not showing up when I received the document. What can I do to make that heading appear in the table of contents? |
