Default Word 2007 - Table of Contents

Client has created a TOC that will be linking to another file. She checked
and Update fields under printoptions is not selected, Update automatic links
on Open is not selected. She has tried in draft view, no difference. As
soon as she hits print preview the fields try to update and she gets errors
on the fields in the document.

Do you know how a user can print or preview a document with links without
updating the fields.

Any ideas or suggestions

You can temporarily freeze fields with Ctrl-F11; unfreeze them with
Ctrl-Shift-F11.
