Is Word 2004 for Windows expected out soon? Microsoft's Office Online makes
no mention of Word 2004 Windows at all. Is it expected to be comparable with
Word 2004 for Mac, which is very nice! Thank you! R. C. Pan, DC, USA

I doubt that it will be Word 2004. Word 12 is in development but certainly
will not come out in 2004 and perhaps not even in 2005.

Out of curiosity, if you are still around, what specifically are you hoping
gets added to the next WinWord? I'd say WinWord 2003 is "comparable" with
MacWord 2004, if not identical.

And MS avoids giving the Mac and Win versions the exact same year/name, by
the way.
