Spell check language
I have numerous documents that were created in Britain and are spell checked
using their common spelling conventions. How do I change these documents so I may check them against United States spelling rules? Dave |

Spell check language
That was IT!!
I had done this before and wondered why it never took. I was not aware it was necessary to select the entire document to get this to change. I was doing the change for wherever my insertion point was. I presume that is to allow for different languages on a single document? Dave "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... Spell check language
Exactly. And the easiest way to apply different languages in the same
document (given that "Detect language automatically" doesn't work worth a toot and should therefore be disabled) is to define paragraph or character styles that include the language and then apply them to the text as needed. -- Suzanne S.
