Default Deleting or Cutting a Column made by tab

I want to cut the text from the second column that was created using tabs.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

I guess that you are requiring to make a vertical selection? You can find
this in Word Help but here is how to do it.

Place the cursor in the top left starting point for your selection. Hold
down the ALT key and drag the pointer down across the selection. Sometimes
the manic Windows Research bar will open as some brain-dead moron gave it
the shortcut Alt+Left Click, but as long as you press ALT and wait a second
or so before starting your selection, it shouldn't trigger the Research
Pane.

The trick here is to make sure you press the mouse button firmly so that it
doesn't register as a click and to make sure you release Alt before
releasing the mouse button (IIRC).

Yes. I am sure it is like that. It's just so easy to simulate that click
though!
