Mail merge question ?
The salutation field is being overlooked. When the letters are merged, the
first name field is being used instead. Eg.: Dear Dianne Jackson instead of Dear Dianne. How do I fix this? |

What is the data source? Is there a separate "salutation" field in it?
What does that field contain? What is the name of the mergefield where you want the salutation to appear? If there is a salutation field and it contains the right data and it is used in the right place, you should not be having such a problem. Merge fields do not just get skipped. -- Hope this helps.
