Is it possible to direct the output of a mail merge in Word 2000 to an
e-mail? And, if so, how? |

Yes - in the Mail Merge Helper,
However, you may need to lower your expectations about the results. In Word 2000, you can either merge to plain text (i.e. the messages have a plain text e-mail body) or merge to a blank message with an attachment. Either start the Mail Merge Helper and choose option (3) Merge..., then select Electronic Mail from the list, or in the MailMerge toolbar, click the Merge... icon and choose the Electronic Mail option from thedropdown. If the Electronic Mail option is not available or greyed out, have a look at http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0002.htm -- Peter Jamieson http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk "Chartsmalm" wrote in message ...
