Hi,
I am using Office 2007 and XP Pro as an operating system. Please could someone tell me how to set the default font for comments. My system seems to default to Times New Roman and I would like to use Arial. Many thanks Bill |

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the reply. However need some more help as I do not know where or how to implement the modification you refer to. Display the Styles pane, for example by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S. Click the
Manage Styles button. On the Edit tab, locate each of the styles. Click the Modify button and make the desired changes. When you are done, click OK until you get back to the Manage Styles dialog. To apply the settings to the current document as well as to its template, click the "New documents based on this template" radio button, and then click OK. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Bill" wrote in message ... Hi Stefan,
Many thanks again for all the input - I never thought to look in style management - thought there would be a more "direct" method! Once again thanks a ton! Well, generally you can use the Styles pane when changing styles
(right-click the style and choose Modify from the context menu), but the Comment Text and Balloon Text styles aren't visible there, at least not by default. Anyway, I'm glad I could help! -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Bill" wrote in message ...
