Word 2003; fonts in the font folder that are not in the font drop
In MS Word 2003, how can I access the Lucida Sans Demibold Roman font? It is
in the font file in Control Panel, but not the the Word font drop down menu. |

Word 2003; fonts in the font folder that are not in the font drop
Apply Lucida Sans and format it as Bold. Fonts in the Fonts folder represent
font "families." A full "family" will include roman or "Regular," bold, italic, and bold italic variants of the font. Only the "regular" version is shown in Word's font list. The rest are applied using the Bold, Italic, and Bold+Italic properties. If you look in the Font dialog, you'll see that in fact these variants are listed under Font style.
