Macro toolbar problem
Hello
I have a .dot with my simple macros and an extra tool bar to use the macros. I also have two key documents that both make reference to the macros and tool bar in the .dot One document works fine and a click on the tool bar gives an instantaneous result while the other document needs many clicks before the macro works and then it takes ages. Sometimes, I need to click in the document as well for the macro to work and the message 'document not responding' is displayed while the hourglass icon is running. What could be causing the second document not to work well when it uses the same macros/toolbar as the first one. Thanks in advance Dave Neve The only difference for me is that the document that works well is much shorter. |

This is not a toolbar problem so much as a macro problem and you have told
us nothing about the macro code. You would have more success if you were to submit your question to the vba group with the macro listing posted in the body of your message. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Dave Neve wrote: Hello I have a .dot with my simple macros and an extra tool bar to use the macros. Hi
I have in fact done that but not had a reply. As the code is the same ( is provided by the same .dot), I wasn't sure it was a code problem. But then again, the code is activated within the cell of a table and the troublesome doc has thousands of cells whereas the other one only has a few so...... Thanks anyway.
