Default Multiple set of page numbering

I have a document that requires two sets of page numbers in the footer (i.e.,
by section C-#, and total pages in volume II-##).

How do I go about this?

Thanks for your help.

Default Multiple set of page numbering

Chapter Numbers is not what I am asking. I need to know how to have two sets
of page numbers-one for sections C-1, C-2, C-3 and then a cumlative page
number for the volume I-1, I-2, I-3, etc.

Each section will have about 10 pages, after page 10 I need it to restart at
page 1 for the next section and have the cumlative page number continue with
page 11 and so on.

I am trying to avoid manually entering the page number for the sections.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Sorry I misunderstood. In order to have different pages numbering you must
first insert a break - Next Page. You can then click on View | Headers and
Footers and navigate to the footer where you want to change the numbering and
click on Link to Previous on the toolbar. You can then insert whatever page
numbering you want for that section.
