Default How do I convert a scanned document into Microsoft word?

I need to type out a stack of documents that I have on hard copy, I have been
told about Windows Journal and how it can import and convert a scanned copy
of a document. Does Microsoft Word have that capability, or is there another
way of doing it? I have Vista on my desktop. I am hoping to save some time
(and my wrists).
