Default cursor placed in header box in new documents

Hi,

for some reason, lately when I open a new (blank) document in Word, it
places the cursor in the header box instead of below the header. How can I
change this back to the normal setting? Restoring the default setting from
Page Setup isn't working. Thanks,

Chris

Likely, Tools--Options, View tab, and check "White space between pages".
You're not really in the header; you're just not viewing the header.

Hope it helps!
