Default Change "Date Modified"

Basically, I have a file that says that I last modified it today (I had to go
in and add my name, etc) but I wrote the file back on Thursday the 27th of
October (10/27/05) and I was done at around 8:15. How can I change the
modified date back to that day? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance
