Find an earlier version (not under File-Version) of Word doc?
Can I retrieve a version of a Word doc I subsequently saved without renaming
or having Version control set? I lost an entire Bibliography that cannot be replaced, apparently by deleting it accidentally before "final" save. |

If you have 'Always create backup copy' checked, the folder that contained
the file will contain a file called 'Backup of ...', being the file as it was when you last opened it (ie without the changes from the final editing session). Failing that, and in the absence of a backup, no. "FSS" wrote in message news Can I retrieve a version of a Word doc I subsequently saved without renaming or having Version control set?
