hello. When dynamic of Visio 2007 diagram with 1 or more Word drawing objects
in front (format picturelayout) of diagram, saving and subsequently
retrieving the file looses the linked object. The diagram (in this case) is
retained but becomes a normal embedded object. However, the link management
options still reflects them (diagrams) as automatic and the object reference
is looses the path/file/page name. This only happens when there is a word
drawing object in front of OLE'ed item. This did not occur in Word 2003.
While the document is open (after OLE) the dynamic link is retained as it
should be.The dynamic aspects are only lost once the document is saved.
Although this is not inhibiting, it is annoying. Any guidance will be
appreciated.
