Default How do I get a subject line on mail merged emails?

I am trying to mail merge into an email from word (2003), however, i cannot
for the life of me work out how to include a subject line on the email.

I have tried the help function and the instructions are far too basic and
lead me back to where i was originally.

When you execute the Merge to email, the Merge to E-mail dialog box that
appears, and in which you specify the field that contains the email
addresses, also contains a Subject line control into which you enter the
subject line that will be used for the email messages.
